In recent years, kiwifruit cultivation has become one of the main industries in the village. The planting and sales models have also become large-scale and standardized.
At the picking site, villagers perform their own duties. After picking kiwifruit from the orchard and carrying them to the sorting area with baskets, they pick out bad ones, weigh them, and load them onto trucks. This model of unified purchase and sales reduces the cost of villagers as well as the waste and damage rates.
There are over 200 mu (about 13.33 hectares) of kiwifruit in Madaping Village, with a yield of more than 1,000 kilograms per mu (about 0.067 hectares) and an annual output of over 200,000 kilograms, increasing the income of villagers by more than 600,000 yuan and driving the economic development of the village. In the future, Madaping Village will continue to develop the kiwifruit industry and improve the quality of kiwifruit cultivation in a bid to make villagers richer and their lives happier.
